"Boys & Girls" is a song by Ayumi Hamasaki, released as her ninth single, on July 14, 1999. In addition to being Hamasaki's first Maxi single, it was also her first certified million-seller. In its first week of release on the Oricon, it ranked at number two as Ami Suzuki's "Be Together" debuted at the top spot with sales of over 300,000 copies. The following week, however, it was able to top the charts.
==Composition==
"Boys & Girls" is an uptempo dance song, with electronic rock arrangement. It has influences of electronica and disco. It also follows a mild rhythmic syncopation.
